First of all let’s start with what is the MAC Address
MAC is a shortening for Media Access Control

It is a number that acts like a name for a particular network adapter, so, for example, the network cards (or built-in network adapters) in two different computers will have different names, or MAC addresses, as would an Ethernet adapter and a wireless adapter in the same computer, and as would multiple network cards in a router. However, it is possible to change the MAC address on most of today’s hardware, often referred to as MAC spoofing.

I used ettercap to sniff my own IP address, and i got him. He started playing counter strike meaning that he used port 27015, i connected to that server and his nick was automatically attributed to me and he got disconnected. I closed CS and went to a nieghbour where i connected to the server and found out his name. I called the server admins(from where i get my internet from the network) and the guys came out and they cut his cable….LITERALLY. I found out that he didn’t pay for the internet for over a month.
Nakedman got lucky…maybe if someone steals your MAC address wont play counter strike and you won’t be able to find out who’s doing it. In that case talk to the guys at your ISP or if you are part of a network talk to the main admins, and if they offer support you will be able to find out who’s doing it to you and stop him.

Also discovered that if i played cs his internet will not work at all and viceversa, the best way to find some info about your troubled guy with no internet is to sniff your ip and see what is he doing and you could find out some very good infos that will get him out from shadows!
